XPS Related Mailing Lists
There are several mailing lists you can join that are related to the XPS
project. If you're considering active development with XPS, you are encouraged
to join all three XPS lists and at least the LLVM developers list.
XPS Lists
- XPS Developers List (
Subscribe,
Archive)
- This list is where the developer's exchange ideas, discuss issues, notify
each other of status, etc. It can be quite active with several to dozens of
messages per day.
- XPS Announcements List (
Subscribe,
Archive)
- This list is reserved for official annuoncements about XPS. Anyone may
subscribe but very few can post to it. It is generally very low volume, about
one message per month.
- XPS Automated Commits List (
Subscribe,
Archive)
- This list is auto fed with the Subversion commit notices. Subscribers may
also post to it, mostly for code review purposes. You don't need to be on this
list unless you're actively developing with XPS every day.
LLVM Lists
- LLVM Developer's List (
List Info)
- This list is where LLVM developer's communicate. It can be quite active
with a few to dozens of messages per day.
- LLVM Announcements List (
List Info)
- This list is reserved for official announcements about LLVM. Anyone may
subscribe but very few can post to it. It is generally very low volume.
- LLVM Commits List (
List Info)
- This list has the CVS commit notices posted.
Other Lists
- ExtProg (
List Info)
- This list was started by Miles Thibault of the University of Toronto after
reading Greg Wilson's article about eXtensible Programming in the ACM Queue
journal. Its subscribers discuss extensible programming concepts.
